First Demo Release and Future Plans
Welcome to the first demo release of Slayer Knight!
This demo will just include the first level, which should introduce most of the major mechanics of the game. The goal right now is to first find any obvious bugs, such as crashing on certain machines or elements of the game glitching out. I have already discovered that if a machine doesn't have any audio devices enabled, the game will crash. So, I appreciate everyone's feedback as comments to these devlogs. At a lower priority, I also appreciate feedback on the "feel of the game's mechanics" and how well those mechanics are explained.
The rough plan for future releases includes a Linux release of the game, multiple updates to the demo release, and then multiple releases of the full game.
